As I set down at the reception area waiting for our ride to Natadola Beach I met up with the couple who were also going to the same trip as I. They looked very enthusiastic and were very excited to go there. It was their first time to be in Fiji and they just loved this place.

They were in Fiji for a week and this trip was the first trip they were taking after coming down to Club Fiji Resort. The van came and we all boarded it and soon were on our way to the Beach Picnic. It took us one and half hours (1 ½) to reach Natadola Beach and once we were there we were awed in surprise with the beautiful view that we got to see. The huge waves were just astonishing and the sandy beach was marvelous.

The couple at first was hesitant to go in the water because of the waves but after a few moments of relaxation they were having a time of their lives. The amazingly hot sunshine and the cool ocean breezes were just what they were looking forward to. “Its very nice, the waves are just so marvelous, and the sun is perfect for our tan and the beach is a really nice place to be at. We are very happy that we had the opportunity to come down here and see this beautiful place”.

After a few hours at the beach the guests were called for lunch which was under a huge shady tree. They really enjoyed the whole idea of sitting in the shade having their lunch and enjoying the cool breeze. After lunch they went to lie down again at the beach and get some more tan and then around half and hour prior to that we left the place to go back to the resort. This was indeed a really nice day after all.
